RINGS is deeply concerned about the war and conflict in Ukraine, as we are about wars and armed conflicts elsewhere, and the impact that these are having on civil society, gender relations, the environment, on the work of academics and students. We join the global call for ending the war in Ukraine and commit ourselves as the RINGS organisation to peace and democracy. As a global movement, we at RINGS connect researchers across the world in the pursuit of gender justice and we extend our solidarity to all those who are calling for peace and dialogue.
